Quality Policy Statement
1. This Quality Policy Statement will be reviewed regularly by top management to ensure the effectiveness of the Management System will be continually improved and number of quality objectives established at relevant functions and levels within the Certificate Issuing Body (hereafter named as the CIB) will be achieved.
2. It is the policy of this CIB to provide customers at all times with a service complying with recognized high standards of practice. The needs of our clients shall be clearly understood and respond with a sense of competitive urgency. We commit to carry out the inspection activities impartially, fairly, free from conflict of interest and in accordance with the appropriate standard and in compliance with statutory, regulatory and client’s requirements and particularly the law under Section 9 of the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Cap. 201). The CIB shall not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality and shall ensure objectivity of the inspection work.
3. We endeavor to utilize all available resources under our control to fulfill our commitment to this policy and to implement a quality management system in compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 “Conformity assessment - Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection” and HKIAS 003 “Technical Criteria for Accreditation of Inspection Body”.
4. It is our objectives to ensure continuous improvement and maintain the highest proficiency and qualification of all staff of the CIB who shall familiarize themselves with the content of the established quality management system and comply with the policies and procedures laid down at all times.
